Students at Strong 21st Century Communications Magnet learn how to communicate in a variety of ways. We are so proud of Mrs. Seeley and her fourth graders for learning how to communicate the Pledge of Allegiance by using American Sign Language.
As part of our harvest celebration, we held a "Spooky Stories" event during the evening in which the students had stories read aloud to them and made crafts. The creative members of the faculty dressed up in themed outfits, such as a "Strong" box of crayons, ninja turtles and the three blind mice. A great time was had by all!
Our 3rd and 4th Grade Family Science Night was an enormous success! Strong students conducted various experiments and examined various fossils and historical artifacts. Thank you to Melanie Bauer from the New Haven Science Fair Program, Title I, and the Peabody Museum for helping to make this a special night for our students.
